Recently for Opera North: Lola Cavalleria Rusticana; Meg Page Falstaff; Countess Charlotte A Little Night Music (Leeds Playhouse/Opera North co-production); Flowermaiden semi-staged Parsifal conducted by Richard Farnes; Mercédès CarmenThe Page in Femi Elufowoju Jr's new production of Rigoletto; Justine Orpheus in the Record Shop, written by and starring Testament Homecut; Second Lady The Magic Flute in a new production directed by James Brining, and conducted by Robert Howarth; cover Dinah in Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti; cover Kate/Lilli Vanessi Kiss me, Kate!; and Silvaine in a revival of the acclaimed Giles Havergal production of Lehár's The Merry Widow.

Helen's other performances include Annina Der Rosenkavalier Opera North in a revival of David McVicar's award-winning production; Little Red Riding Hood Into the Woods in Opera North's highly-acclaimed co-production with Leeds Playhouse; Rosina The Barber of Seville for The Merry Opera Company, Heritage Opera, and also highlights for London Festival Opera; Flora La Traviata and Prince Orlofsky Die Fledermaus for Focus Opera at Chiswick House; and Mercédès in NCO's production of Carmen at the Minack Theatre.  

         

 

 

 

 

 

 

                    

Helen Évora won full Scholarships throughout her vocal training in London. She attained her First Class BMus (Hons) at Trinity College of Music, and went on to attain her MMus at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, followed by the GSMD Opera Course. About Helen
